Carol Barton
Bethesda, MD
CAROL BARTON is a book artist, curator and arts administrator. She has taught at the Penland School of Crafts, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the International Center of Photography and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is currently on the faculty at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she teaches a book structures course. Her work can be found in numerous collections including the Library of Congress, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. She curated the exhibition “Science and the Artist’s Book” for the Smithsonian Institution.
