works by instructors of book artsCrime & Punishment
(1993) Fydor Dostoevsky's text in design binding. Acrylic painting in the style of Fritz Eichenberg. The French binding is full calf skin painted with ocher and brown leather dyes. The "byzantine" design on the front cover has been achieved by the use of old Gothic carving and punching techniques.
