Richard Minsky
Hudson, NY
b. 1947

RICHARD MINSKY, who founded the Center for Book Arts in 1974, has received many fellowships, grants and awards, including the National Endowment for the Arts, the British Council, and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. His one-man exhibitions at the Zabriskie, Allan Stone and Louis K. Meisel galleries brought book art to a larger art world, and his works are in many institutional and private collections. The Richard Minsky Archive is at Yale University's Haas Arts Library, where a 50-year retrospective exhibition was presented in 2010. His new work is now on exhibit at the CBA through December 10, 2014.
