I am interested in how scientific procedures operate as metaphors for behavior and emotions as well as processes for attaining knowledge. Can you measure pressure, magnetism or tension? ... "Crevice/Map" uses imagery from ordinance survey maps and body organs to chart internal and external surfaces. The text describes a journey up Ben Nevis in Scotland along one side, and a journey over the body on the other. The sensuality and vulnerability of surfaces is evoked, as well as the movement of fluids beneath.
