"Is This Love I Feel" has a coptic stitch binding that is adhered into enameled metal covers. The book contains seventeen 1" x 1" aquatint mezzotints images printed on German etch paper. These images are abstractions of lovers embracing, forcing the viewer to come in for a closer look. The paper was chosen for its tactile quality, and combined with the images, promotes the viewer to be lost in this world of visual and tactile pleasure. Meanwhile, spikes from the cover are pushing against the membrane of the skin causing the pain that is associated with the love process.
