I have worked on several medical textbooks, including a manual of wound and trauma care, an atlas of head and neck microsurgery, and a book on women's health for the AMA. While doing research for a medical atlas of male sexual inadequacy, I was able to observe a number of sex change operations and to sketch them. This was the impetus for my book.
