American History Lessons
Larry Walczak Offset on paper offset printing 8 1/2 x 10 x 1/4 in edition of 500 "American History Lessons" is about the "romanticized masculine ideal" as commonly portrayed in such larger-than-life characters as Davy Crockett and other military-type figures. This book is also about the nature of photographic documentation in our culture. It utilizes childhood memories catalogued in snapshots and postcards placed within a children's book format which juxtaposes historical myth with childhood fantasy. | ||||
