SONG OF SONGS was the first book I produced under the Inanna Press imprint. It is an extremely loaded text, one that has been printed by countless fine presses before me. I wanted to see if I had anything fresh to contribute, and also if my work was strong enough to withstand being influenced by the inevitable parade of images from the past, especially those of Eric Gill, which are jaw-droppingly lovely.
