FROSTING was originally conceived as a performance, "7 Minute Frosting," that was presented at The Knitting Factory in the fall of 1990. While each book is a slice of cake, the edition of twenty forms a complete cake. The embossed text was printed on Rives De Lin paper at the Center for Book Arts in the winter of 1991.
