The prints I have been making during the last few years have been dealing with the graceless and shameless people I notice here and there. I often put these subjects in situations I have been in or imagine as particularly uncomfortable, but my view point is usually a little vulgar and more that a little sarcastic. I always harbor a bit of sympathy for my subjects because I can relate. // Consistent with this, my book "Suckers" deals with a very typical chain of events -- anticipation, love, disgust, and loneliness. It was very fitting for the prints to be put into book form, so that the viewer could see the images as a flowing sequence. Let it be noted, that my likenesses to those in reality are purely coincidental.
