I am in love with multiples and the tactile/sculptural quality of letterpress printing. Having previously been a musician and a choreographer, I've found a greater freedom in design and book-related arts which allows me to speak about the themes that have run througout my life…love and death.// I have followed one of these themes for the past 14 years, commemorating Valentine's Day by producing a limited-edition object. They have taken many different forms usually including letterpress printing: a book shaped like a match book exploring matchmaking practices in three cultures; an investigation of love gods and goddesses printed from linoleum blocks and magnesium plates and a broadside with text from my ow version of the Book of Ruth - to name a few.// My intention is to include everyone in this holiday, and to examine love in as many dimensions as it exists.// This current piece is my attempt to touch on the theme of love and loss.
