Aging

Marie  Weaver

1995
number 1
edition of 1

This book expresses the feelings I have about aging, now that I am in my forties. I have always looked forward to being older because of the knowledge I would have, but now that I am middle-aged, I discover that it is hard to watch my physical self change. I feel that in our beauty-conscious society, losing one's beauty can make one feel small and tucked away, and that beauty, or lack of it, is a lie because it doesn't reflect who we are beneath the reflection.
