Diary

Bettina  Hubby

1993
number 1
edition of 1

The drawings I do are autobiographical. I started to record my life in drawings when my experiences became potent enough that I would have felt a loss had they not been preserved. I wanted to record the content and emotion of the event without writing a diary. I use visual symbols to fill in the gaps in my memory. I also hope to have other people's imaginations activated by my drawings, to act as a point of departure into another history.
