"Gypsy Moth" was inspired by a heartbreakingly lovely handpainted fan from the 19th century. My desire was to capture the essential qualities of the moth - the beautiful and the destructive, without color, using form alone. This eight page book is created out of torn Stonehenge paper, pamphlet bound and sewn with linen cord, in an edition of ten.
