All the pieces I have done around this topic, or am now doing, are dedicated to my mother. She tried very hard to save her aunt. My research has been exciting…like a detective story on one level, but also very sad. My mother, now 86, is in very fragile health in a nursing home. These works may become a memorial to her, as well as her aunt and her other family members who were lost in the Holocaust.
