Through every page of the illustrations, paintings, photographs and text are cutout letters which interrupt the reading of the original information. Each cutout letter can be read on the surface of the page or viewed as a receding three-dimensional shadow of identical letters. The sub-text is a "visual-bite" functioning as a commentary on the content of the printed book.
