Ruth Lingen
Poote Press
Brooklyn, NY
Ruth Lingen was a student of Walter Hamady and makes her own papers. She started Poote Press in 1982. Employing her papers to good effect, she delights in producing gem-like miniatures, as well as larger books and broadsides, in collaboration with artists and writers. A fine draftsman in her own right, she has worked at the South Street Seaport's Bowne & Co. and currently works at Pace Editions as a printer.
